Basil Hayden Kentucky Straight Bourbon WhiskeyThis Bourbon is my new favorite. After having tasted a fairly good selection of Bourbons I have come to the conclusion that Basil Haydens suits my taste the best.
BH is simply a very mellow, great tasting sipping whiskey. It's dry, smooth and does not have a long lasting finish. 80 proof and aged for 8 years. My liquor cabinet will always have a bottle of BH in it.

Check out Wikipedia entry for Basil Hayden: he was a Maryland Catholic who moved to Kentucky and started the first Catholic Church at famous Bardstown, in addition to making the greatest whiskey.
